With more than 500 varieties still actively cultivated on its territory, Italy has inherited from the past a unique diversity of olive cultivars. Still, some varieties have emerged over the centuries as the most adapted for oil production, including the Taggiasca, Frantoio and Coratina.

In this set we have selected olive oils that are outstanding expressions of three cultivars that have been widely planted: Taggiasca (Northern Italy), Frantoio (Central Italy) and Coratina (Southern Italy).

  • This oil comes from a selection of the best Frantoio olives grown on the Ramerino estate. Medium green fruitiness with notes of artichoke and fresh almond. Bitterness and pungency are harmoniously balanced.

  • Ideally complements different seafood dishes, adding a distinct flavour reminiscent of a sunny afternoon. Medium to intense green fruitiness with clear notes of fresh cut grass. The bitterness is well-balanced and pepperiness is long-lasting.

  • Made with 100% Taggiasca olives harvested while green, Extremum is a delicate fruitiness oil balanced with slight bitterness and spice. It has predominant aromas of apple and almond accompanied by floral and herbaceous notes. The oil is great with leafy green salads, and exquisite when dressing fish or white meat.
